Position Overview:

Location: Pune (Work from Office Only)
Experience: 1 to 3 Years
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Data Extraction and Analysis LinkedIn:
    • Use automated tools, scripts, and web scraping techniques to collect data from various websites and platforms
    • Extract marketing-related data such as competitor analysis, customer trends, and pricing information
  2. Data Cleaning and Processing:
    • Process, clean, and organize raw scraped data into usable formats for marketing analysis. (eg. V-lookup in Excel)
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the scraping and processing stages
  3. Competitor and Market Research:
    • Monitor competitor websites, products, and digital campaigns to gather actionable insights
    • Analyze data to help develop effective digital marketing strategies
  4. Reporting and Visualization:
    • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to the marketing team
    • Assist in making data-driven decisions to improve digital marketing performance
  5. Tool and Script Management:
    • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, R, or tools like Sales navigator, zoom info, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, or Octoparse) for efficient data scraping
    • Troubleshoot and optimize scraping processes to ensure maximum efficiency
  6. Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure adherence to data privacy laws, terms of service, and ethical guidelines during scraping activities
    • Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of data

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in web scraping tools and libraries (e.g., Python: Sales navigator, zoom info, Scrapy, Selenium)
  • Experience in data processing and cleaning tools like Pandas and Excel
  • Familiarity with APIs, web crawling techniques, and automation tools
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate insights
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing concepts and how data applies to SEO, Ads, and campaigns
  • Ability to present data effectively through reports and dashboards
