What you will do
- Assist with on-page optimisation across client websites (meta tags, headings, content)
- Conduct keyword research and help create structured content briefs
- Support GEO efforts — optimising content for visibility in AI-generated search answers
- Help implement AEO strategies including featured snippet targeting and Q&A schema
- Track keyword rankings and organic performance weekly using GSC and GA4
- Assist with backlink research, outreach tracking, and competitor monitoring
Required skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Basic understanding of how search engines work and what SEO involves
- Strong written English and good research instincts
- Eagerness to learn about GEO, AEO, and AI's impact on search
- Internship duration: 3–6 months, Pune (on-site)
Preferred skills
- Any prior exposure to tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console
- Interest in AI tools and how they are changing digital marketing
- A personal blog or any published writing (shows initiative)
